Record Breaker

In the 8th grade technology and engineering class, Amber MacConnell, Alaa Tanteh, and Kyndal Downing have set the records high for how many pounds a bridge design can hold. With their bridge holding 60lbs, they have managed to get the highest amount of pounds ever held by a bridge at Tahanto, making their way onto Mr. Eiermanns Wall of Fame. “The bridge was strong, and could have held more,” Mr. Eiermann stated. This was because the actual truss did not break, but the part supporting the weight snapped, and if that had been a little bit stronger it would have held more weight. Amber, Alaa and Kyndal were so excited to hear that they had the bridge weight record.
