A Tahanto art tradition is to make a painting on a pumpkin near Halloween. All the art classes get categories and the rest is up to their imagination. Every year, Parents and kids vote on their favorite and winners are chosen. Provided by Ms. Mack, the list of this year's winners are:
Jillian Bradford, Grade 6, Theme: Disney
Lydia Anderson, Grade 7, Theme: Superheroes/Villains
Edith Abelson, Grade 7 Drawing, Theme: Animals
Gabe Ferullo, Grade 8, Theme: Holiday
Sarah Young, Grade 10, Ceramics, Theme: Nature
Lyman Abelson, Grade 9, Art 1, Theme: Movies
Sean Tynan, Grade 12, Painting, Theme: Music
These people worked hard on their pumpkins and won! All their creativity paid off. If you would like to see these masterpieces in person, they are located in the office!
